If I were to speak to my main character, Eric, a lot would come out of my mouth. I would say that he has gotten a lot stronger. At the beginning, he was a wimp, but now he is a strong character who is willing to stand up for himself and others. I would also say that I am proud of him. He stood up to Sarah's dad in a way that would take a lot of courage. I could never do it! He has become a much better character, in my opinion.
If I got to talk to my other main character, Sarah, even more would come out. I would first start by saying how sorry I was for her, and how much people should not judge her. I can not believe anybody would say such careless things. I would also say that I am VERY proud of her for being so strong, and living past her dad. A dad should never treat her daughter like that, whatsoever. It takes a very strong person to live with an abusive parent, and that is Sarah Byrnes. Lastly, I would tell her I wish I could help. Honestly, I would love to help her get back to her mom. Sadly, she is a character in a book, and I can not actually do anything through a thin sheet of paper.
I would say exactly what you said to Sarah Byrnes. She was so strong on not letting her dad get to her. If her dad would have gotten to her, she would have ran away, but she stayed strong. Now, she is able to do things without having to worry about her dad.
