The conflict with main charecter

I think the conflict is man vs. man because Eric is struggling with his school paper and and that Sarah Byrnes is in the hospital and they don't know why.   When Dale (the bully)  is mad that Eric wrote about him in the paper he makes it more complicated to make the story.  Also Sarah is complicating things more by not being able to speak.   No , I do not think he can solve the problem without more harm because when he writes the story it makes the principle mad and also upsets dale.  I think he will cause more harm with Sarah too because there has to be a reason she is like that. She might not be speaking cause she doesn't want to talk about it and it can make her more upset if he finds out.
