Eric The Great!!!

     Eric is the main character in "Staying Fat For Sarah Byrnes". He wants to have friends, and will do his best to make them happy. This must mean Eric is a caring and considerate person. He has a habit of having low self-esteem, and calls himself names. Although he thinks he is fat, he has a love of swimming. Many of the parts of the book takes place in his local swimming area. I dislike this character, because I do not like his attitude. Eric sometimes over-dramatizes things, and never stands up for himself. This makes me think lowly of him.
