Eric Calhoune is a...

High school cliques. This will be fun.

Eric is a bit of a class clown. He's not fully a class clown, don't get me wrong. He gets his work done mostly, he's a pretty good student, but there are some times when. he's pretty laid back and a joker. But a class clown is only a bit of Eric. Thanks to Wikipedia's handy list of common high school cliques [thank you, wiki], I'd say Eric falls into being more of an outsider.

Outsiders don't tend to fit in as well and/or are socially challenged [kind of...], or they can feel independent and don't really feel like they they need to be in a group [that's more like Eric]. They often have this "I don't care about anything" attitude and tend to get in trouble for it. Sounds familiar? It should. Eric fits that bill.

Eric tends to not show much interest in anything. He never really gets that much attention other than from his friend Steve Ellerby, Sarah Byrnes, or his kind of rival but not really Mark Brittain. He's not in any real clique group. He's not a jock, a nerd, a popular kid, an emo, a puck, a gamer, or any of that. He's just... Eric.

Eric's heading off into college, so as an adult, he'll probably be that one worker who gets things done by themselves unless they desperately need help. He'll be that independent guy who gets his job done and doesn't really talk to anyone and just keeps sipping his coffee. So... good luck, Eric.
