What would you say to your main character right now?- Olivia Gill

If I had a chance to talk to one of my characters in my book, I would talk to Eric Calhoune. I would say he made the right decision to tell Lemry about Sarah's dad, and how she got her burns. Sarah Byrnes has been able to talk about her problems, and about how her dad burned her ever since she has been living with Lemry. Lemry has been kind to her, she let her stay in her room above the garage, gave her food, and she has had protected from her dad. If Eric did not say anything she would still be in the hospital, scared of her dad, and she would not have a good shelter.

I would say Eric made the right decision to tell Lemry because even though Sarah Byrnes told him not to tell anyone, he noticed she was in danger. He was not going to let his best friend be in danger, and have to live through it her entire life. He was a good friend, and stood up for Sarah. Even though Sarah was mad at him for telling, he didn't care because he didn't want his best friend hurt. He would rather have Sarah safe and mad at him, rather than Sarah not safe and happy with him. Eric made a good decision, and that's what I would tell him if I could talk to Eric Calhoune.
