Impressions of my Main Character-Olivia Gill
Eric Calhoune's actions in my book makes me think he is a good friend. Everyday he goes and visits Sarah, and he will talk to her even though she will not talk back to him. I've learned Eric loves to swim. Eric has told us about many of the events in swimming that he has won. He always tries to get better each time he swims. He works on new skills, and new tips. I think Eric is a good character in my book. He will speak his mind, but in a kindly manner. He also stays by Sarah in thick and thin times. Overall Eric Calhoune is a good character in my book.

I agree with what you said about Eric being a good friend. I would, however, like to disagree with the fact that he speaks his mind. Throughout the story Eric has been, for lack of a better word, a wimp. To us it seems that he speaks his mind due to the fact that we are reading the book from his POV and he certainly does in some cases (ex. CAT class.) I just think that he could be much more outspoken and brave.
