Research On My Author

  The author of my book is Chris Crutcher.  Some of the books that Chris Crutcher has written include, Running Loose, Stotan!, and The Crazy Horse Electric Game.  He has also written Chinese Handcuffs, Ironman, and Whale Talk. The author may have written this book to show that no matter your story you can still be able to stand up for yourself.  This relates to the story in many ways.  One way it relates is by Sarah always standing up for herself when people made fun of her burns.  Always have the courage to stand up for yourself!
