Mobe.

My main problem with the book as of page 90 is that Mobe, as a character, is uninteresting. Nothing is particularly "special" about him, except for two things: He's fat, and He swims fast. As of late, he has had less character development than Sarrah Brynes, who is boarded up in a hospital. Actually, the story would be more interesting if Sarrah was the main character, or even Dale. Atleast Dale has a firm personality; High School Dropout. Mobe is just generic. There is nothing bad or good about him, and he just feels borderline mediocre. Oh, and lets not forget; the "My dad left me when I was young" archetype that artificially adds to his character development. After page 5, it is NOT mentioned again for ATLEAST 80 PAGES. It feels sort-of, just there. The joke about rocks was funny though.

Point being, the story should've been handled a little differently. Mobe needs some more personality traits, or he needs to be a side character.
