There are many conflicts in this book such as, Man vs. Man, Man vs. Self, and Man vs. Society.
But, it's mostly Man vs. Society.
It's Man vs. Society because Sara and Eric and are getting bullied by the world around them for being "fat" and "ugly". Because of their traits, people call them names everyday and hurt them physically and emotionally. They will solve their problem eventually, but they will still cause harm with their newspaper Crispy Pork Rinds.
